SynthQuery's Essay Checker runs AI detection, readability analysis, and grammar checking in one pass—built for students and writers who want to verify their essay reads naturally, scores appropriately for their grade level, and passes common originality checks. Paste your essay once and get three verdicts: AI-likelihood percentage, readability grade level (Flesch-Kincaid), and a grammar summary.
What this tool does
The AI detector uses our in-house classifier (same as /detect) returning a 0–100 AI probability with sentence-level highlights. Readability is calculated via Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level, Gunning Fog, and SMOG so you can compare against your target reading level. Grammar checks cover common errors (subject-verb agreement, comma splices, article misuse). Results display side-by-side for quick review.
Use cases
High-school and university students double-check essays before submission. ESL writers verify their text reads at the expected grade level. Editors run quick sanity passes on drafts before deep edits. Tutors demonstrate the impact of rewriting on detection scores.
