Hreflang Tag Generator
Hreflang is implemented with link elements (rel="alternate" hreflang="…") or HTTP headers, often mirrored in sitemaps for large sites. Each cluster of alternates should reference every member, including x-default when appropriate, and each page should self-reference with its own language code. Canonical URLs should still point to the preferred URL for that specific language version—not to a different locale unless your international strategy explicitly consolidates there.
A full interactive Hreflang Tag Generator is on the SynthQuery roadmap. Until it ships, audit existing templates in Search Console’s International Targeting reports, validate return links manually, and pair this page with the Canonical Tag Builder for consistent primary URLs per locale. The Robots.txt Generator and XML Sitemap Generator landing pages help you document crawl paths and sitemap indexes that include localized URLs.
